TalkingStick is made by Simon (zimonh.nl). This page says what is kept and measured.
What the app keeps
- For people who make an account: name, email address and an encrypted password.
- For participants with a code: the name they type.
- Per meeting: the topics, questions and comments on the speakers list, who added them and the speaking time.
Everything is on a server in Frankfurt (EU). No data is sold or used for advertising.
The interest form
What you fill in on the form, I keep to email you back and to see whether TalkingStick should be built further. Want me to delete it? Mail me through zimonh.nl.
Measuring with Google Analytics
Only when you press Allow in the banner do I load Google Analytics. Before that, nothing is loaded or measured. No ads, no advertising cookies.
After Allow I measure which pages are viewed, and these actions:
- clicking a button like "Try it free";
- sending the interest form: only the kind of group and the answer about paying, never your name or email;
- making an account, room or meeting;
- joining with a code.
Your choice is stored in your own browser. You can always change it through Cookie settings.
